Overview
An enterprise SaaS company is looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer to lead architectural decisions and improve developer experience across their React-based product suite. You will mentor engineers, contribute to platform strategy, and drive quality at scale.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve frontend architecture standards and component libraries
- Lead code reviews, technical design discussions, and cross-team alignment
- Build and maintain a design system used by multiple product teams
- Partner with product and design to ensure performant, accessible UIs
- Champion testing and documentation practices across the frontend org
Qualifications
- 7+ years of frontend engineering experience
- Expert-level React, TypeScript, and modern CSS
- Experience building and maintaining design systems at scale
- Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility (WCAG 2.2), and security
- Ability to influence without authority across engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Next.js, Remix, or similar meta-frameworks
- Background in component-driven development with Storybook
- Prior staff or principal engineer experience
