Overview
A technology-forward enterprise client is building an internal developer platform to accelerate engineering velocity. You will join a small, high-impact platform team responsible for golden paths, developer tooling, infrastructure abstractions, and platform reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design and build self-service infrastructure and deployment tooling
- Own the golden path developer experience for application onboarding
- Build platform capabilities: secrets management, observability, policy enforcement
- Collaborate with security and architecture to embed controls in the platform
- Support and improve developer documentation and runbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of platform or infrastructure engineering experience
- Expertise in Kubernetes and cloud-native patterns
- Experience with Backstage or similar internal developer portal tooling
- Strong Terraform and GitOps proficiency
- Excellent communication skills for working across engineering orgs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Crossplane or Cluster API
- Familiarity with platform engineering patterns and the DORA metrics framework
- Background in large-scale Kubernetes fleet management
