Senior DevOps Engineer

Overview

A major enterprise technology client needs a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the modernization of their CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration platform. This is a high-impact contract role with the possibility of extension or conversion.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD
• Manage Kubernetes clusters across dev, staging, and production environments
• Collaborate with application teams to containerize and migrate workloads
• Implement observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
• Enforce security and compliance controls in the deployment pipeline

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience
• Expert-level Kubernetes and Helm chart management
• Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI
• Solid Linux administration and scripting background

Preferred Qualifications

• CKA or CKAD certification
• Experience in enterprise or highly regulated environments
• Exposure to service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
