Overview

A growing advanced manufacturing firm is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead product development for their flagship component line. You will work across the full design cycle from concept through production release, collaborating closely with manufacturing and quality teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design from concept through production-ready documentation
  • Perform structural and thermal analysis using FEA tools
  • Coordinate design reviews with manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams
  • Create and maintain engineering drawings and BOM documentation
  • Drive DFM and DFA principles throughout the product lifecycle

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience in product or manufacturing environments
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
  • Experience with FEA using ANSYS or equivalent
  • Strong GD&T knowledge and drawing interpretation
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with precision machined components or metal fabrication
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and automotive quality standards
  • PE license or in progress
