Overview
A leading precision manufacturing facility is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to analyze production workflows, reduce waste, and implement lean improvements. This is a hands-on role with direct visibility into the shop floor and strong exposure to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document existing manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Lead lean/Six Sigma projects to reduce cycle time and scrap rates
- Develop and implement standard work instructions and process controls
- Collaborate with quality and production teams on root cause analysis
- Support new product introduction and manufacturing readiness reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience
- Proficiency in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with process FMEA, control plans, and SPC
- Strong data analysis skills using Excel or Minitab
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience with CNC machining, stamping, or injection molding processes
- Exposure to ERP/MES systems in a production environment
