Senior Data Scientist

Overview

A healthcare technology company is expanding its data science function and seeks a Senior Data Scientist to build predictive models that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. You will work across structured and unstructured clinical datasets and partner with clinical and product stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy predictive models using real-world clinical data
• Design and execute A/B tests and causal inference studies
• Build data pipelines in collaboration with data engineering
• Communicate model results and business impact to non-technical stakeholders
• Maintain rigorous documentation and reproducibility standards

Qualifications

• 4+ years of applied data science experience
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency
• Experience with scikit-learn, XGBoost, and statistical modeling
• Understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) preferred
• Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or Data Science

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with EHR data or claims data
• Familiarity with HIPAA and data privacy standards
• Experience with Spark or distributed data processing
