Overview
A regional financial services group is investing in their data platform and needs a Data Engineer to build pipelines, manage their data warehouse, and enable the analytics and data science teams. You will work with dbt, Snowflake, and Airflow in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and build ELT/ETL pipelines using dbt and Airflow
- Maintain and optimize Snowflake data warehouse models
- Implement data quality monitoring and observability tooling
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data products
- Support analytics engineers and data scientists with clean, reliable data
Qualifications
- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Experience with dbt, Airflow, and Snowflake or BigQuery
- Understanding of data modeling, slowly changing dimensions, and data vault
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services data environments
- Familiarity with Great Expectations or Monte Carlo for data quality
- Exposure to Fivetran, Airbyte, or custom connector development
