Senior AI/ML Engineer

Overview

Our client, a high-growth enterprise SaaS company, is building out their AI infrastructure and needs a Senior AI/ML Engineer to own model development, deployment pipelines, and performance optimization at scale. You will work closely with data engineers, product managers, and platform teams to ship AI-powered features that serve millions of end users.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end ML pipelines from data ingestion to model serving
• Train, evaluate, and fine-tune large language and predictive models
• Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into AI capabilities
• Establish engineering standards for model monitoring, drift detection, and retraining
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical direction

Qualifications

• 5+ years of machine learning engineering experience in production environments
• Strong Python proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
• Experience with MLOps tooling: MLflow, Kubeflow, or equivalent
• Solid understanding of cloud-based model deployment on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large language model fine-tuning and RAG architectures
• Prior work in healthcare or financial services AI applications
• Familiarity with feature stores and data versioning systems
