Overview

An industrial technology company building connected field devices is seeking an Electrical Engineer with embedded systems experience. You will lead PCB design, firmware bring-up collaboration, and hardware validation for IoT product development.

Responsibilities

  • Design schematics and PCB layouts for embedded hardware products
  • Collaborate with firmware engineers during bring-up and integration
  • Perform electrical testing, debugging, and validation
  • Manage component selection, BOM, and supplier qualification
  • Write hardware design documentation and test procedures

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of electrical engineering in embedded hardware design
  • Proficiency in Altium Designer or OrCAD
  • Experience with microcontrollers, power electronics, and communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN)
  • Strong analog and digital circuit design skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with wireless protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN)
  • Background in industrial or medical device hardware
  • IPC-A-610 or IPC-7711 training
