Overview
A leading government technology contractor is expanding their cloud security team. This Contract-to-Hire role will have you embedded with a high-clearance program team, securing AWS GovCloud workloads and advising on FedRAMP compliance.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls across AWS GovCloud
- Lead vulnerability assessment and remediation activities
- Develop security architecture documentation and risk assessments
- Collaborate with compliance teams on FedRAMP and NIST frameworks
- Respond to and investigate security incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience
- Active U.S. security clearance (Secret or higher preferred)
- Experience with AWS security services: GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config
- Knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and FISMA
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Top Secret / SCI clearance
- Experience with SIEM platforms and SOAR automation
- Familiarity with DoD STIGs and CMMC
