Overview
A tier-one financial services organization is modernizing its core technology infrastructure and seeks a Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy. You will own architecture design across AWS and Azure, guide migration planning, and serve as the senior technical voice on cloud governance and security.
Responsibilities
- Define cloud architecture standards and reference architectures
- Lead migration of on-premise workloads to cloud-native services
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams on data residency and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate and recommend cloud service providers and tooling
- Provide technical leadership across a cross-functional delivery team
Qualifications
- 8+ years of infrastructure and cloud engineering experience
- Deep expertise in AWS or Azure with multi-cloud exposure
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Expert certification
- Experience with regulated industries and financial services compliance frameworks
- Strong background in network architecture, IAM, and security design
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK
- Prior leadership of enterprise cloud migration programs
- Knowledge of FFIEC, SOC 2, or PCI DSS
